Oops!
When a boxcar from the U.S. Army rolled into the Union-Anachromism Pacific's railyard, passersby thought nothing of it. They also didn't think much of a rather large BOOM! that rolled through the southern part of town.
Found inside the car's remains was teamster Axle Greaz. Said Greaz, "I knew that, despite what it said on the outside of the car, it held a new secret thingamajig. I don't mind talking about it, as it ain't no secret no more."
So, wha' happen'?
"Well in addition to the latest thingamajig (the Deluxe Model II), there were some old crates. I was told to move them over to the pile of leaky stuff we'll eventually get to the hazardous waste dump. I was down to the last crate when I got curious about what was in it."
I asked Mr. Greaz if there weren't any markings that would have clued him into the box's contents.
"Yeah. There was this red, black, and white sign that said 'Danger – Nitro'. My name's not Nitro, so I figured it was safe. I lit up a new cigar and gave the crate a good shake. Guess I screwed up.
"Boy, was my face red. Then they cleaned off the blood. I hope they don't charge me for the boxcar. At least my boss [Mr. W. E. Coyote] wasn't too sore. He said that similar things have happened to him so often that he's lost count."
'Danger – Axle' sign."
